BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS. HARD COURT TOURNAMENT. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 26. Further results in the British hard court tennis championships at Bournemouth: — Men's Singles.—First round: Malfroy (N.Z.) beat Olliff, 6—2, $)—7. I—6, 10—8. Second round: Malfroy lieat Morton, 6 —l, 6—4, 7 —5; Weston (Australia) beat Henderson-Brooks, 9—7, 6—2, 6—i. Women's Singles.—Second round: Miss N. Wynne (Australia) beat Miss Southwell, 6 —o, 6-—3. Yesterday's cabled results stated that Malfroy had beaten R. W. Higgin, 7—5, B—3, 6 —3 in the first rpund.
CLOW WINS AT CAMBRIDGE.
The finals of the men's championships of the Cambridge Tennis Club resulted: — Singles.—D. Clow beat W. Robinson, 6 —2, Doubles. —D. Clow and W. Robinson beat J. Haworth and V. Hollis, 6—3, 7—5.
