N.Z. POLO TOUR.
SECOND TEAM BEATEN IN HANDICAP. SYDNEY. April 28. The New Zealand second polo team, comprising L. Kay, K. Henry, G. Vosper and C. Morgan, was beaten to-day by a strong Town and Country team in that club's handicap tournament. The New Zealanders received four and a half goals start, and although their ponies were faster and their combination surprisingly good, in spite of the fact that the men had not hitherto played together, their hitting was too inaccurate, otherwise they would have enjoyed a comfortable win. Morgan scored twice for New Zealand, who were defeated by 8 goals to 6%. The Town and Country team included P. and G. Ashton.
The Xew Zealand first team withdrew from the competition owing to the shortage of ponies.
