ARRIVED FROM SYDNEY. Two pacers, Van Derby and Mountain Emblem, arrived from Sydney by the Wanganella. this morning. BOUGHT FOR £4. Purchased for the small outlay of £4, the Wrack mare Peggotty is proving a goldmine to her owner, Mr. R. Butterick. She commenced racing as an aged mare in December last, when she won the Mitcham Handicap, of 3.4© class for trotters, and went 3.32 4-5. She has followed this up by winning six more on end, and her record ie now seven wins in eight starts. REMAINING IN CHPttSTCHURCH. Nervie's Last will not be a starter in the Fergusson. Handicap at Epsom on Saturday,, as F. Smith intends to remain at Addington with: the pacer to take part in the grand final of the championship. Crocus and Sandusky are returning; to Auckland, and will represent the stable at the Auckland meeting on Saturday. I
