INSECTS IN HARDWOOD.
(BJ Telegraph!-—Press Association.) j , WELLINGTON', Tuesday. A passenger from • Australia by the Awatea to-day was Dr. David Miller, of the Cawthron Institute. He has been investigating the insect infestation of hard woods in New South Wales, following the discovery of this trouble in i sleepers intended for the South Island Main Trunk railway.
