PASSENGER INJURED.
CAR AND BITS COLLIDE. Suffering from cuts on the face and head, Mr. John William Metcalfe, of 17, Napier Street, Auckland, was. taken to the Auckland Hospital yesterday morn-
ing in a St. John -ambulance. A bus belonging to the Auckland Bus Company was involved in a collision with a motor car on the Great North Road, and when the drivei* of the bus applied the braks Mr. Metcalfe, who was a passenger in the bus, was thrown from his seat behind the driver. His condition this morning was fair.
