MEAT FOR BRITAIN.

IMPORTS THIS YEAR. MORE FROM NEW ZEALAND. Slightly less beef and mutton, but more pork, has been imported into Britain [luring the first two months of this year than in the same period a year ago. New Zealand's share lias increased, though shipments of pork and bacon have been a ittle smaller. New Zealand, sending 8828 tons and Australia 5517 tons, supplied the biggest lart of the mutton and lamb. Argentine jvershadowed all otlier countries as beef supplier, exporting 24,462 tons to the Jnited Kingdom. As for pork and bacon, he bulk of the supply was home-grown.
