PROGRESS CLUB.
A splendid attendance of members and visitors of the Women's Progress Club met for its weekly meeting at the Higher Thought Centre. Mrs. T. G. Pearee presided and also arranged the programme for the afternoon.
A monologue was presented by Mrs. M. Stuart, and community singing was led by Mrs. Collier. The accompanist was Mrs. Clarkson. Mrs. Chatwin gave a reading on "Progress and Prosperity." Mrs. Probert sang several solos, and u musical duet was arranged by Mesdames Goldie and Probert. Humorous incidents that occurred on a journey to England were given by Mrs. E. Paice. Mrs. Pearee. on behalf of the club, welcomed its president, Mrs. Charles Dickens, back from a holiday tour. '
