FUNERALS HELD.
TWO WOMEN VICTIMS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", Monday. The fnnerals of two of the Wellington victims of the train smash near Ratana, Mrs. Esme Wilton Webb and Mrs. Ethel Sarah Lewis, took place this afternoon, the interment being at Karori Cemtery. The Railways Department was represented by Messrs. E. Casey and H. Valentine, assistant general manager and second assistant general manager, respectively. Tn both cases wreaths were sent by the Minister of Railways, the Hon. D. O. Sullivan, and the general manager of railways, Mr. G. H. Mack ley, and the staff. There was a large attendance at the funerals.
