MARKETS ARE STEADY. POTATOES SLIGHTLY CHEAPER. There have been few alterations in the rrain and produce markets since last eport. Oflcrings of pollard from A>isralia have been freer and merchants have )ccn able to cover their requirements for i few months ahead. Merchants are still very busy distributing fertilisers, and there is also a keen demand for grass and clover seeds. Fowl Wheat. — Australian, 7/1 per bushel. Maize.—6/4 to 6'6 per bushel. Bailey.— Feed: 5/ to 5/2 per bushel; undipped. 4/6 to 4/0. TVheatmeal.—l2/6 to 13' per 1001b.
