Representative trials will take place on April 2 at the Golden Gate Rink. WVllini;ton. at which the follow injr events will be
< ecided : I.adies solo championship. < im-br.n-injj fancy and trick sktitiiijr: gentle, tnen's speed contests. embracing three events, half-mile pursuit race, tlirec qua rr*-r and one milt- scratch races. Entries have already been received from linnedin. Christchurch. Auckland, l'almerston North and Wellington.
It is proposed (hat the two selected skaters will sail for Australia about April 11. In Australia they will be the ;rucst< of the New South Wales Roller skatifj flub. This will be the first on vhich New Zealand will be officially represented abroad by roller skaters.
