SCOTTISH ASSOCIATION.
The Scottish Regimental Association! (The Jocks) held their first social for the: season in the Masonic Hall, Princes , Street, on Saturday night. There was a j large attendance and a most enjoyable j evening was spent by those present. 'Iliei president. Mr. W. Laird, and the principal officers were piped to the platform by Piper Thos. Stewart. Representatives from the following kindred societies were also piped in: Old C'ontemptibles. Otahuliu Caledonian Society, Onehunga Caledonian Society and Sandringliam Caledonian Society. Solos were rendered by Misses May Stewart and E. Fish. Exhibitions of Highland dancing were giveirl by Misses Doreen Dunne and D. Hay. Mr. J. Miller gave piano-accordion solos.
