£100,000 LOAN.
POWER FOT WAITEMATA. , BOARD'S MOVE CONFIRMED. Confirmation of the Waitemata Electric Power Board's decision to raise a reticulation extension loan of £100,000 was received from the Local Government Loans Board at to-day's meeting of the power board. It was reported that, though there were more than 14,800 ratepayers -n the board's area, no objections had been made againet the boards proposal to rake the loan by special order, wh-ch 'became operative on February 21. 1935. A letter was received from the State Advance* Corporation of New Zealand statins that it was prepared to provide funds as they were required.
