Voitre, the four-year-old Apollo was successful in the chief event, the Moonee Ponds Handicap, at the Moonee Valley Racing Club's meeting yesterday. Bankshaw, by Siegfried— Court Step, was unplaced in the first division of the Maiden Two-year-old Handicap. Hilton, by Beau Pere—Awaken, was unplaced in the second division and Snow Queen, by Beau Pere—Curtsey, in the Hollyinount Handicap. Result:— MOOXEE PONDS HANDICAP of £1000. . One mile aud a half. GLEN ESK'S STAKES. SYDNEY, March 20. The New Zealand-bred Edible finished second to Glen Kek in the Park States at the Hawkesbury Racing Club's meeting yesterday. Litigation; by Iliad—Gobble, was third to Royal Ensign and The Nineteenth in the Juvenile Handicap, wherein Miltiades, by Iliad—Black Cat, and Pliable were unplaced. Improvement and Linioux were unplaced in the Hawkesbury Autumn Handicap and Troy in the Clarendon Handicap.
