DAISY CHAIN CLUB.
Members assembled at the club roo-ms recently for the weekly meeting, with Mrs Lord, the president, in the chair. A welcome was given to one new vicepresident, Mrs. Corrin, who has proved herself a splendid worker in the club, and the president thanked the past committee for their services, and welcomed the new committee to office. The thought for the day was read by the secretary, Mrs. Barfoot, also letters from Aunt Daisy and Uncle Tom regarding a community sing. A successful bring and buy was held, the proceeds of which go to the good cheer box for helping the sick and ueedy. During the day a novelty prize was won by Mrs. Gilfoyje.
