LOCAL CIRCLE. . -— i On Friday evening Mr. Varley Hudson presided over the annual meeting of the vocal and instrumental circle of the Society of musicians. The attendance was excellent. The following officers were elected:— Convener, Miss Amy Hansard; secretary, Miss Netta Simich; committee, Mrs. Vera Fowler, Mrs. Myrtle Poole; Miss Mary Murphy, Miss Kathleen Jackson, Mrs. Dundas Edmonds, Miss Ethel Hammond.
