WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the Auckland Star " this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate northerly winds. Weather mainly fair to cloudy, but some isolated showers probable in southern areas and in the ranges. Temperatures mild. Seas smooth to moderate. There has been little change in the general situation. Pressure is still high over New Zealand, especially in the north, but relatively low over the | Tasman Sea. FOR THE DOMINION. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day:— The indications are for moderate northerly winds. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. Temperatures mild. Barometer little move, ment. Seas smooth to moderate. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, N.N.E., moderate; sea, moderate; weather, fine, but cloudy; visibility, fair; barometer, steady.
