MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, attended the Ngaruawahia regatta to-day, and to-morrow will be present at the unveiling of gates in the Huntly Domain, which have been erected in memory of Mr. W. H. Bailey, a former member of the Huntly Borough Council. The Minister will return to Wellington to-morrow evening. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, is to open a new post office at Queenstown on Monday, and will be in the South Island about a week. The Minister of Labour, the> Hon. H. T. Armstrong, is visiting the Nelson district and will go on to Christehurch. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. R. Semple, is inspecting the northern section of the South Island Main Trunk railway.
