all was colourful. While the order was held on a crimson cushion his Excellency. Lord Galway. told the assembled 5000 jieople that this was an order well deserved. Princes? Te Puea had done, and was doing, a great and noble work' for tho Maori people, and the decoration was in honour and in recognition' of that work.
