CLUB NOTES, i Victoria Cruising Club's Protests.- The sailing committee of this club met on Wed-! | nesda.v evening to consider several protests ; lodged after the club's recent regatta. The committee, dealing with the protest against 'Avon in the / class, decided that the original placings shall stand. They are: Avon 1. Falcon 2. Ranoni 3. Wild Rose and j .losal. dead-heat. 4. The Taniariki was disqualified for going inside the Sr. Mary's boat harbour in her race. The amended placings are: Macushla 1. Komuri '2. Royal N.Z. Yacht Squadron has decided to hold the two races, cancelled at the Kawan week-end owing to adverse weather conditions, on Saturday week. March 20.
