ON BOTH HARBOURS.

DEVONPORT REGATTA. COMBINED RACES ON MANUKAU. The Devonport Yacht Club's regatta, tn lie held to-morrow, starts and finishes off the Victoria wharf. All of the u*ual racing classes are catered for, including the keel yachts, which not included in some of the ■ club's events. Much interest will centre in the sccond annual inter-club contest to-morrow for the Dulux Cup, held by the Devonport Cluh by virtue of its representative. Menmtil, winning the race last season. Kach local club is entitled to nominate two boats in a team and most of the clubs have done so. The Tamaki Yacht Club's team, Shamrock and Kiptide, can be counted on to make a good fight for the trophy, and judging by recent performances the club, which was second last year, should have a win to-morrow, as the trophy is decided on a points basis. The entries are good In all classes and keen competition is assured over the club's triangular racing courses. The I)evoii|>oit Ferry Company has again placod its night passenger launch at the club's disposal for flagship and she will be anchored in a line with the eastern end of the wharf.

On Saturday week the Richmond Cruising Club will hold cruising races to Matiatia if weather permits. The Taka- j puna Boating Club will also combine its j fixtures with the Richmond Club, holding j a cruising nice to the same destination I as the Richmond Club. Both clubs will ! hold combined harbour raws for all ! racing classes under 20ft. These races ! will be tinder the control of the Richmond ' (lub. stating and finishing oIT the. Watchman Island, sailing the usual club j courses. The Silver Fern class will be included in the event* of both clubs. j The Royal Xew Zealand Yacht S<|tiad- j ron will also hold races to-morrow week. I The two divisions of the keel clu<s will race for Mr. Harry (Joldie's trophy and the Berthon Barrel, over courses starting and finishing off the King's wharf.
