i FINDING AT INQUEST. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNCI. Tlilirsday. An inquest into the death of Raungaiti Wahapa. known as Rati Waha, was held this morniii" before the coroner. Mr. W. | Thomas. Wahapa was in jured when a j motor lorry, driven by Henry Stafford. I cras-hed through the Motutara Bridge. ' near Te Whakarae, eight miles from J Taumarunui, on March 5 when return--1 ing from the Tawata sports. He died e on March 9 r Dr. Welby Fisher said that Wahapa" e died some iiottrs a'fter an operation, the j cause of death being traumatic intes- | tinal obstruction, and shock from in- ' juries and the operation. Henry Stafford said that when driving home from the Tawata sports his lorry a hit the side of the bridge and fell over J , into a gully. Witness gave his speed ®! at 22 or 25 miles per hour.
