Curson. | stated that she had been kept very busy assist ing patients in the wards, but had not Nil so many out-patients as compared with the previous month. The tram fares had been exceedingly heavy this month assist ing out-patients to report daily for treatment. Many tuberculosis patients had been jjiven orders for nourishment, along with extra clothing, the district iuir-es had been supplied with malt ami cod liver oil or such patent foods as required. Sixty-live patients in hospital had been given complete out tits of clothing, ami wards liad la-en supplied with sun j-lasses. slippers and bed jackets. Wool was supplied to the home sister for the nurses to knit into garments in readiness for winter. Altogether !!)li families hail been assisted and 4!Mi garments had been given out. In apcaking of the report Mrs. Campbell said that the work wa.-i.well worth while. The Onelmnga branch had carried out its duties at the Kpsom Inlirmarv. Ninety patients were taken for a ilrive round the waterfront and thence to the Domain, where they were entertaineil at a ttei noon tea at the kiosk, I hi* Wilson Home branch was being kept very litisy preparing winter garments for the cripple patients. Owing to the holiday season the work of this committee was not yet in full swing. The Alexandra Home was being visited bv the Mount Kilen branch and clothing anil extra comforts were given when necessary. It was reported that a very active branch was that of the Mental Hos-pital, the members conli-ning their act i\ ities to the Auckland and Kingseat -Mental Hospital. During the afternoon many letters of thanks were read. A welcome was extended to Sister Fair, who is in charge of the tuberculosis branch at the Jntirmarv.
