ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON. CHAPLAIN ENTERTAINS. Miss Ella Shield*. ( oat* at St. Luke's vicarage. Mount Albert. Canon Coats i* the secretarygeneral for New Zealand and chaplain of the Actors' Church Union. The lawn and terraces of the vicarage garden Hanked by spreading tree*. and gaily coloured (lowered borders. made a charming dais for the guest*, and later they adjourned to the house, where a dainty tea wan served in the diningroom and study. Yellow chrysanthemum* centred the- table, while beautiful autumn blooms were also used to effect. Mrs. Coat* wore a black crepe | frock, with wide-brimmed black tagel | picture hat. J
