HEALTH APPOINTMENT.
DR. GSLBBBO GOES WORTH. Dr. C. B. Gilberd, assistant medical officer of health at Auckland, left to-day for Whaogarei to take charge of the North Auckland health district in succession to Dr. Duncan Cook. Dr. Cook has been transferred to Palmerston North to become medical officer of health in the new Wellington -Hawke's Bay health district.. Dr. Gilberd, who was formerly in private practice at Papatoetoe, has been assistant to Dr. T. J. Hughes, medical officer of health at Auckland, for the past 12 months. He was education at the Wanganui Technical College and Otago University. He is a well-known athlete and an ex-Otago representative footballer.
