NORTHCOTE APPOINTMENTS. HIGH AND PRIMARY. " » Separate headmasters have been appointed for the Northcote District High School and the Northcote Primary School, which hitherto have been under the control of the principal of the District High School. Mr. F. A. Garry has relinquished the position of headmaster of the Mount Roskill School and has accepted the office of principal of the Northcote District High School, which comprises the high, intermediate and manual training department*. The Primary School has been removed from supervision by the principal of the District High School, and to-morrow Mr. Roy Douglas Kelly takes charge as headmaster. Mr. Kelly, who is 46 years of age and married, has been the headmaster of the Panmure School for several years. Pending the appointment of a successor to Mr. Garry, the first assistant, Mr. Chas. H. Colegrave, will be actingheadmaster, of the Mount Roskill School. The vacancy in the Northcote District High School occurred in June last, when Mr. A. C. Rowe, who followed Mr. W. J. Wernham as principal at the beginning of September, 1936, waa appointed Inspector of Schools, with headquarters at Dunedin. The first assistant. Mr. H. R.
