Jap. Advances to Germany and Italy. NOT WELCOMED IN BERLIN. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LOXDOX, January 30. The Berlin correspondent of the j "Daily Telegraph" says the reported j statement of Mr. Koki Hirota. Japanese j Foreign Minister, that Germany, Italy j and Japan might in future enter into still closer relations than those provided! for under the Antit'ommunist I'act has j aroused no enthusiasm in Berlin. THREAT OF MUTINY. JAPANESE IN BRITISH SHIP. (Received 9.30 a.m.) HONGKONG, January 30. A Chinese-owned British-registered steamer, the Wohpingyat, took refuge at the port of Macao to escape from a pursuing Japanese warship. The British steamer Silksworth, when 24 hours out from Hongkong, was forced to return owing to a threatened mutiny by the Japanese crew against the British officers. The authorities are investigating the matter. '
