JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES. MANAWATU BEATEN BY INNINGS. PALMERSTOX NORTH, Thursday. In both bowling and hatting, the touring team of Auckland junior cricketers proved superior to the Manawatu senior B representatives in a match which was concluded on the sports ground to-day. Auckland closed their innings of the previous dav, carrying their total from 28.8 for eight wickets to 303. Manawatu then went in. and by lunch were ail out for 116. They followed on, and by four o'clock had been dismissed a second lime for the slightly better showing of 140. Auckland thus won by an innings and 47 ruus. Scores: —- Auckland.—First innings, 303.
