Lang v. Severne: This game, whkk was adjourned from last evening, was continued this morning, Lang being armed with four pawns and a bishop against Severne's four pawns and a king. Pawns were again exchanged on the 43rd move, when the end game tussle ensued. However, after the gime had proceeded to move 48, a draw wa* agreed upon.
Burry v. McNabb: Adjourned fron round 11. this pa me was also continued. McNabb having three pawns and a bishop to Burry's one pawn and » knight. Pawns were exchanged on the •55th move, and it appeared at move Si a very difficult problem for white t« win in spite of a two-pawn advantage. After a repetition of moves the game was finallv declared a draw.
McDerinid v. Erskine: This game was al>o adjourned from the 12th round. Krskine at the adjournment had a pawn up. and after a few moves trained another pawn and the advantage of » passed pawn which McDerinid had to watch carefully. McDermid's counterattack offered a sacrifice of a knight for a pawn, which Erskine accepted. The sacrifice, however, did not prove sound and McDerinid resigned on the 52nd move.
