NEWTON BURGLARY.
SUSPECT ARRESTED.
-It wm reported to the police yesterday morning that the shop of Mr. H. Nettleship, 67, Karangahape Road, had been broken into the previous night, when thieves made unsuccessful attempts to open two safes, but stole a small sum of money from the till, and Constable Hotham, of the Queen's wharf police, last evening airrested a suspect. Entrance to the • shop was gained by breaking a small back window. After climbing through a fanlight the thieves wrenched off the locks of an inner shop door.
