SURVEYORS LOST.
timely rescue by airmen.
QUEBEC, January 4.
After subsisting for six weeks bv shooting 14 rabbits, 13 half-starved Provincial Government surveyors who were lost in the bush were rescued by airmen. Their plight was drawn attention to by trappers.
The rescued men acclaim their superintendent, Colonel Komeogenet, a hero for compelling them to work and main--tain their strength to avert a panic.
