Trade Treaty Negotiations Contemplated. PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION. (Received 11 a.m.) CANBERRA, this day. The Consul-General lor the United States had a preliminary discussion with Mr. J. A. Lyons concerning the negotiation of a trade agreement. Exploratory work concerning the issues on each side will begin immediately.
