The wedding took place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Remuera, this morning of Honora Frances McCarthy, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. McCarthy, of Helensville, to Ed ward Joseph, elder son of Mr. and Mrs- W. H. Wright, of Remuera. The church was decorated for the occasion with masses of summer flowers in pink and cyclamen shadings. His Lordship Bishop Liston, assisted by the Rev. Father J. J. Bradley, officiated at the marriage ceremony, and al-so celebrated Nuptial Mass. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a graceful gown of heavy cream satin, embossed in a flower pat-
tern. The frock was cut on slim tailored lines, with Grecian swathing in the front and large sleeves that fell in folds. The long train was attached to the shoulders at the back, and over it she wore a flowing cream net veil. For her bouquet the bride carried a sheaf of gladioli.
The two bridesmaides. Miss Leah Buddie and M iss Rita Waters, wore appliqued frocks of mauve and cyclamen georgetteThey were made with full-gored skirts and very large puffed sleeves, and were trimmed with alternate colours of mauve and cyclamen. The bridegroom was attended by his brother. Mr. William Wright, and Mr. Hugh Wright, a cousin.
Following the Xuptial Mass a reception was held in the Domain Tea Kiosk. Mrs. McCarthv received her guests wearing a long floral frock, with a navy three-quarter-length coat and a hat to tone. Mrs. W. H. Wright wore a graceful frock of navy suede made with inserted laee sleeves and relieved with a large mauve flower.
