DISTRICT NURSE.
SUGGESTED APPOINTMENT.
At a meeting of the Onehunga Borough Council last night a letter was read from the Hospital Board asking advice on the question of appointing of a district nurse at Onehunga. It was suggested that the opinions of social workers be included in the council's reply. It was decided to approve the appointment of a district nurse and the Town Clerk reported that three of the local doctors had favoured the proposal.
