WATER IN BUTTER.
COMPANY FINED £5. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUN'EDIX. Monday. Judgment'was given this afternoon in a case in which the Department of Health" proceeded on two charges against the Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., of sellinu butter with added water. The magistrate, Mr. W. H. Bundle, eatd he was satisfied that the butter in the c«se had not. been sufficiently tested by the mai iiger, and that su'li 'ient precautions had not been taken to prevent excess of water. The company was convicted and fined £5, with costs.
