OVERSEAS DEVELOPMENTS. TRAIN!-**; CENTRE NEEDED. About 20 cases were dealt with at a meet nig of the executive committee of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand "1»P'«1 Children Society last night. Help ot various kinds was granted. Mr. T. Laniout gave an account of observations made during visits to crippled children's homes during the course of an extensive overseas tour. was stated t'wt the branch was still endeavouring to find work for a number ot young men and women. A number of appeals had been made on behalf of two youths of 18 and 19 years of a-e but without success. '

As a result of Mr. Lainont's observations it was decided that a training centre for crippled children was necessary. Present expenditure, however made this impossible. '
