RACE SUICIDE.
Subject matter submitted by "Forthright"' on race suicide already determines, much food for thoupht and perhaps contention. However, men and women arc neither saints nor dinners, but simply human. Experience teaches me that our choice is apparent, but not real, We act in strict conformity with our economic en\iionment, and, above all, our actions are relative to determining factors. This applies with equal force to race suicide, empty cradles eeliba.te lives and childless marriages. The contributing factors which determine chiKl'ess marriages are many; they are a re Mux, however, of existing conditions, which include economic insecurity from the cradle to the grave. Many of the effects arising out the vicious circle are positively too terriUe t-> contemplate. Bear in mind, it is. the unfit \\i'-> are produced so rapidly. This is the class that will be exploited by that clever and wellentrenched minority which is in sociefy. but not a part of it. to suit its own ends. Thus in the end progress as \*e know it, may c.isp, 1 ' f '' ty and freedom will be chained down to external authority, anil many of the horrors and e\il* of the dismal past revived <>u a ucx\ and devastating scale and in unsuspected ,'ni-c.
