JUVENILE CYCLISTS. TEACHER SEEKS GUIDANCE. BOARD HAS NO POWERS. A suggestion that "double-banking' 1 on bicycles by pupils should be prohibited was contained in a letter read at this morning's meeting of the Auckland Education Board. "I don't know what we can do except a.~k the Automobile Association t» ii.\ warning sign* near the school,"' said the chairman. Mr. T. U. Wells. '"There i> a lot of traffic at Panmure, but I don't know that it is worse than at other places." " 'Double-banking' is very dangerous," said one of the members. The chairman replied that it was a matter for the parents, as the teachers could not prohibit it. Several members pointed out that a greater danger was cyclists riding abreast. I Mr. R. A.
