PRESENTATIONS.
At a large gathering of parishioners at the Maungaturoto Public Hall a farewell was tendered to the Rev. Mr. Sinclair and Mrs. Sinclair prior to their departure for Papakura. Mr. Rodney Con ten spoke in glowing terms of the work done by Mr. Sinclair during his 4J years' charge of the parish, and Mr. T. H. C. Snelling, on behalf of the whole parish, presented him with a substantial cheque.
At the Onehunga Police Station on Saturday evening members of the staff said good-bye to Constable J. Norton, who is leaving Onehunga on transfer to Henderson. Constable Norton, who has been attached to the Onehunga station ilnce August, 1934, was presented w>th a pipe and tobacco pouch by Sergeant S. A. Brown, who spoke of Constable Norton's good qualities.
