FORMER AUCKLANDER.
A name once familiar in the list of Auckland's manufacturing industries in the early days of its development and progress was that of the coachbuilding firm of Gee and Potter. Former employees still living may be interested to learn that an apprentice with them fifty or more years ago, Mr. J. Lawrence Hill, now of Rochester, New York, wa« recently elected president of the New York group of the Empire State Gasoline Retailers' Association.
