At a meeting of the New South Wales Rugby League criticism was expressed in regard to the poaching of Australian players b.v wealthy English clubs, which led to the indifferent display by the present touring Australian team and the falling off of attendances in Australia. It was decided to recommend that the Australian Board of Control ask the English Rugby League to reimpose the ban on the importation of Australian players. The opinion was expressed tbat New Zealand is bound to suffer in the same way and therefore the co-operation of the Xetv Zealand League on the reimposition of the ban is to be sought.
