ARABS AND OUTRAGE.
COMPANIONS IN PALESTINE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) JERUSALEM, November 14. Two Arabs were shot dead, one in the Jewish quarter. Three were seriously injured and another was arrested in possession of a revolver, for which he is liable to the death penalty. Still another Arab was arrested for throwing a bomb in a street. Police on the Jericho Road shot dead an Arab who allegedly had been smuggling arms. Two girls were shot from a car and later died. A land mine exploded on a bridge on the Jaffa-Jerusalem road just after a British patrol car had passed. A secret manifesto protesting against British interference in Moslem affairs is being circulated among the Arabs by the new Arab Higher Committee. It urges the Arabs to stand firm in their battle against imperialism.
