AFFORESTATION, LIMITED. SATISFACTORY YEAR. A further year of progress in the development of Uie plantations of Afforestation. Limited, T* reviewed in the fourteenth annual report for th# rear ended July 31. The trees have continued to make satisfactory progress and they have put on good growth. Fire-breaks were kept in good order, and the roads were materially improved by the metalling of patches troublesorpe in wet weather. The directors are convinced that the market for pinus insignia timber of all sizes can be developed to a considerable extent to the profit of shareholders. Some or all of the balance of unallotted shares may be issued.
Balance-sheet figures show paid capital at £43.181. Chief assets are: Freehold land. £7771; development account. £38,289; maintenance reserve ftind. £4959.
