AN IMPRESSIVE WIN. '
BOTORtrr HUNT MEETING. SPRINT TO RONA BAY. Only two favourites were successful at the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty Hunt Club's meeting at Arawa Park on Satur<day, but several other well backed horses won. The chief event, the Hunt Cup, was annexed by Adsum, while the open sprint, the Haere Ra Handicap, saw Rona Bay gain the verdict by a narrow margin from Tray Bit. The weather was showery throughout the afternoon, nevertheless there was a good attendance. During the day the totalisator handled the sum of £14,517 10/, compared with £12,241 10/ last year, an increase of £227 G. Later results are:— LADIES' BRACELET of £43. Gentlemen riders.
