CANDLES IN DEMAND.
MT. BOMOU VOWSR TAXTLT
Shopkeepers in some parte of Mount Rosk.ll experienced an unusually heavy demand on their stock* of candles last sight when a power breakdown interrupted the service for about one hour. House lighte, radios and other electrical equipment were out of order from shortly after 8.30 to 9.30. One shopkeeper reports that his slender stock of candles waa completely sold out after a short period of darkness is the vicinity.
