Joey Becomes President

Nobody at Sunshine House was at all surprised when this week there arrived a letter from Joey, in which he promptly and delightedly agrees to become the president of the Joeys Club. As a matter of fact, -when the club's first letter arrived Peter Pan, knowing Joey well, prophesied that an early mail would bring an enthusiastic letter from our Northland friend of last summer. Here is Joey's letter:— Koutu, Hokianga. Dear Peter Pan I was rather surprised to see thje lovely letter that was published in the paper. I must say that I am willing to become the president of the Joeys Club. I herewith enclose 2/6 to help you. Yours sincerely, JOEY BOYCE.
