DRIVE AGAINST SHAGS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Friday. A drive against shags, organised by members of the Rotorua Rod and Gun Club with the object of assisting the Department of Internal Affairs, is to take place on Sunday. Approximately, 16 guns will be out and parties will ; be on Lakes Rbtoiti, Rerewhakaitu and Tarawera. and on the Rangitaiki River. Officers of the Internal Affairs Department will shoot in sanctuaries on .Lake Rotorua, where large numbers I of shags have been taking advantage of I the protected water.
