The nam* has several English interpretations. The word Koren Is n versacukur term applied by the Maoris to n now extinct species of email sen bird which formerly frequented Brown's Inland, the native name for which is Motu Korea. Whilo the hull of the vessel is complete she has yet to be decked and her engine* are expected .to reach Auckland from Liverpool by the Napier Star on Mnturday morning. It is hoped that she will be placed in the Auckland-Devon-port service before the Christmae rush. The largest and fastest ferry of the kind in the Dominion, she will carry about 35 cars as against the 28 and 30 of the present vowels. Similar in design to the Eaglehawk, her dimensions are, length 140 ft, beam 30ft and draught between seven and eight feet.
