TEMPORARY CAPACITY MR. F. K. HUNT ON BENCH. MAGISTRATE'S RETIREMENT. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. When asked to-day if information was available concerning a successor to Mr. Wyvern Wilson, who is retiring from the magistracy, the Minister of Justice, the Hon. H. G. ft. Mason, said that Mr. Wilson would he on leave for throe months, and during that period Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., would act as senior magistrate, Mr. Mason added that in the meantime arrangements were being made to ask Mr. F. K. Hunt, who retired as a magistrate lust year, to act in a temporary capacity.
Mr. F. K. Hunt censed hit) magisterial duties in Auckland on December 24, IO.'MI, although he was appointed coroner for Auckland as from the end of November of last year. Horn in London, Mr. Hunt came to New Zealand and settled in Chris tchrrch in IHHI. Ho wart first articled to the l.ilk Mr. J. C.
