FUNERAL TO-DAY.
LATE CANON HASELDEN. ARCHBISHOP LEADS SERVICE. Members of the Anglican clergy this afternoon carried the remains of the late Rev. Canon John Haselden into St. Luke's Church, Mount Albert, and la/ter to his grave in the church yard. The service in the church was conducted by Archbishop Averill, who had as his. chaplain Archdeacon Simpkin. In attendance on the Archbishop also were Archdeacon Hawkins and the Revs. C'«non Strong, McFarland and Canon Coats. In his address the Archbishop referred to the long and faithful service of the late Canon Haselden, and to the affectio:: in which he w-as held by his brother clergymen and by the people of Auckland. A large numl)er of people attended the funeral as mourners. The chief mourners were the Mi«s#a Haselden, daughters the late Canon Haaelden.
