KING COUNTRY REPORT (From Our Own correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. According to anglers who have fished the King Count rivers and streams for years past the sport obtained so far this season has been the best for many years. Fish taken from the Wanganui and the Whakapapa rivers have been in splendid condition. Good fish have also been caught at Waimiha and Ongarue. but from reports to hand they are somewhat smaller 'l-flti those taken from the Wangn-ui. A number of anglers have obtains " good bags at the intake at Piriak;several of the fish weighing 3Jlb.
